Mike Danson is founder and chairman of the Progressive Group of data and media companies. Prior to starting Progressive in 2009, he ran Datamonitor Ltd., initially founding it in 1989 and serving as the Chief Executive Officer. He led Datamonitor Ltd., from his front room, through its listing on the London Stock Exchange, to its sale to Informa for £502m in 2007.
